Hello, I'm Eimear (pronounced "E-mer", sounds like Beamer)
I'm a strategic marketing consultant with 25 years' experience, and since 2019, I've focused on helping businesses in the construction and built environment sector improve their visibility and reach their clients with impact.
My journey here isn't exactly linear. I started as a marketing executive at Powergen, spent years working with major high street bank brands, and even had a fascinating stint in prison education. But during those 25 years, when working for an offsite company called Terrapin, my love for this sector was born.
Today, I run Strong Marketing and Communications, where I help specialist contractors, consultants, architects, and supply chain businesses define their positioning, generate better leads, and build marketing systems that work. My approach is deeply personal - I become an extension of their team, connecting them to my network to challenge assumptions, sharpen messaging, and develop marketing that people genuinely want to read and act on.
While I'm a generalist, my heart lies with direct marketing, email campaigns, and data-driven strategies, which is where I started my career. I'm also fascinated by AI and how it can revolutionise what we do in this sector.
This sector has a reputation for being fiercely competitive. Still, I have rose-tinted glasses and have joined this network as we all need to support and learn from each other.
A connected, communicating, positive marketing and communications community will only benefit our industry and help us overcome the challenges we face together.
I’m Tony, Director of EyeSiteView - We help UK housebuilders and property developers sell homes off-plan faster with cutting-edge visualisation and interactive sales tools.
With 15 years serving the property and construction sector, I’ve seen first-hand how immersive content transforms the sales journey. From Virtual Showhomes to 3D Site Plans and Interactive Configurators, our talented team of CGI artists, 3D animators, and developers create experiences that capture attention and build buyer confidence.
But here’s the truth, I’m frustrated with how new homes are sold. Traditional techniques are outdated, confusing, and often lack the transparency buyers deserve. It’s the biggest purchase of their lives, yet the process is filled with uncertainty and guesswork. That doesn’t sit right with me.
I’m on a mission to disrupt how homes are sold off-plan. Using the latest 3D visualisation tools, we’re building a simple, centralised, and digital customer journey - giving buyers clarity, confidence, and control. You can spec and buy a car online… so why not your new home?
If you want to wow your audience, stand out from the competition, and boost your off-plan strategy, let’s connect.

I've been meddling with marketing for over 10 years and always had an interest in digital insights. I started out as a journalist once-upon-a-time, writing for Agricultural magazines about pig feed... it's amazing where your career takes you. I then had the chance to move into the built environment and haven't looked back - I love telling stories for brands that are making a real difference to our quality of life, and I (we) have a lot of fun doing that. The digital side of things is where we as an agency excel - I've always enjoyed delivering results that make a positive dent on clients balance books, crafting campaigns that identify new areas of commercial growth and such. Looking forward to connecting with some new (and a few old) faces!

Managing Director/Publishing Director, Built Environment & Architecture Media/Architecture Today
As MD of Built Environment and Architecture Media I work with the talented and creative teams behind Architecture Today, School of Specification, RegenerativeArchitecture.org, CMA Awards and the Construction & Built Environment Marketing Network.
My track record in architecture and built environment media - and the industry more widely - spans over 30 years, continuously creating opportunities for championing and supporting our professional communities as they have grappled with the challenges and opportunities of our times.
I still relish the challenge of reinventing established media brands in response to the changing needs of our audiences and the realities of a fast-changing media landscape and have overseen the successful relaunch of The Architects’ Journal, RIBA Journal and Architecture Today as multi-media content platforms as well as notable launches such as AJ 40 Under 40, UK Architecture at MIPIM and the World Architecture Festival.
I became an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2023.
