5 years at the helm of marketing and communications for the leading voice in built environment market intelligence. I drive impactful marketing strategies that not only elevate the brand but also actively contribute to positive evolution within the construction industry. I’m a firm believer in marketing’s power to shape a smarter, more sustainable future for the built environment.
Internally, I champion clear and dynamic communication as the bedrock of a forward-thinking organisation. Cultivating a culture of open dialogue and shared understanding is paramount to ensuring we’re truly equipped to anticipate and meet the needs of a changing industry. My global experience across 15 years lies in delivering high-performing marketing and fostering internal alignment that fuels tangible progress.

Business Development Manager, North of England & North Wales, The Chartered Institute of Building
My role is to identify and work with organisations, in the North of England & North Wales, who are eligible to be a Chartered Company or Training Partner.
Chartered Company or Consultancy Membership is determined by chartership of the Board and number of years trading. * 50% of the Board must be Chartered, one with CIOB & * Minimum of 2 years trading This Chartership demonstrates professionalism, quality and competencies via an application and assessments process. We have members from SME's to Tier1's.
For those that don't meet eligibility for Chartered Company Membership, we have a Training Partnership Agreement that you can enter into.
Our Training Partners either, can't meet the above criteria because they are too large, or aren't directly involved on construction, but have estates teams or departments who are. Our Training Partners also have access to resources to support membership of CIOB, Pathways to CIOB Chartership and opportunities for training and development via our Academy.
To find out more about either of the above opportunities I can be contacted at: kpercival@ciob.org.uk or 01344 630868
With over 15 years’ experience of strategic marketing in the built environment, I have previously worked at some well-known names within the industry. I’ve had an exciting career so far, working on research projects to unlock growth for companies, implementing strategies for international markets throughout Europe as well as developing and launching products through multi-channel campaigns. Sustainability is a big passion of mine – the ever increasing threat of the climate emergency means that sustainable thinking needs to be at the heart of all strategies. I have experience in reviewing a company’s carbon impact by looking at scopes 1 -3. With this data, I was able to contribute to creating roadmaps and translate them into successful commercial strategy. I’m thrilled to have founded Urban Fox Marketing, which is all my passion and knowledge (and curiosity) poured into a marketing consultancy, tailored to each client.
